Films are shown at scheduled times throughout the month, typically on the weekends, and in conjunction with the Art-Walk celebration on the second Thursday of each month. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for students, senior citizens (age 60+), military personnel, and children. Live at the Paramount ~ This new concert series features nationally and internationally recognized performing artists showcased in the intimate setting of this landmark theatre. The series, now in its third season, is co-sponsored by AbilenePublicRadio. The 2007-2008 season includes folk singer John Gorka, theatrical sensation Jason Petty in "Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes," and the internationally lauded Los Angeles Guitar Quartet. Subscription series tickets (which includes the same seat at all three concerts) are reserved at $60, $45, $33 and $21 depnding on location. Each year the Paramount produces a musical as a major fundraiser, and several smaller events throughout the year. The 2008 season includes a youth production of Seussical, Jr., based on the popular Dr. Suess books, and our annual summer musical benifit production--Jekyll & Hyde.
